A little about us

We are a Regional offering and part of Autism Center Southern Denmark. Here we offer § 108 services to adult citizens who need very special support to navigate in everyday life. Our pedagogical basis takes its starting point in our shared core task:

we strengthen self-determination and promote independence,

to support the citizen's own experience of quality of life and a meaningful life.”

We have in the Center a focus on professional development and you must as part of this attend our internal professional training of 6 days.

House C is a highly specialized 24-hour facility with 6 places, all of which have the character of special arrangements. The citizens may be outwardly aggressive and have self-harming behavior and thrive best in 1:1 support. All require guidance in relation to their social, emotional and behavioral development. The citizens are aged 22-32. We work closely with House A and the Activity and socializing offer, which is located on the same site. Most of the citizens have a day offer at our internal Activity and socializing offer.

With 20 citizens and about 85 staff we are a place with plenty of life and fun, distributed across several departments with different support needs.

And yes, we work purposefully with sub-goals and documentation. But no need to stress - the training is thorough and if you are a bit of a CTRL-ALT-DELETE master with superpowers in professional systems, we are already impressed. As our daily documentation system we use Nexus.

The available position

The permanent position as SSA is 37 hours per week. Working hours are variable and alternate between day/evening and every 2nd weekend in the period 7.00-23.00, in some cases night work may occur.

Who are you?

• A super competent Social and Health Care Assistant
• We would like you to have knowledge of the target group and a professionally grounded approach
• You are the type who always meets people with a smile, curiosity and a huge amount of patience
• In addition you can work in a structured and present way and you have an ability to keep an overview, even when everything is running at full speed
• You can handle personal care and the citizens' individual support needs with a calm smile on your lips – for it is a natural part of the job
• Citzizens will greatly appreciate that you have a driver's license .

You will have some special tasks

• Medication handling
• Medication dosing
• Training of colleagues
• Co-responsible for implementation of guidelines and hygiene instructions
• Coordinator of health plans
• Contact with doctors and hospitals
• Doctor visits when possible

The practical

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement (so no surprises there).

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in 32.03.1 . In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
