As part of the Health Reform, Kastaniegården is looking for a Social and Health Care Assistant (SSA) for evening shifts.

We are seeking a development-oriented, professional and strongly grounded new colleague for the evening shift team

Are you highly interested in the rehabilitative mindset, primary prophylaxis, and do you want to work in a varied and exciting environment where citizen turnover is high and therefore the health professional challenges as well?

Kastaniegården is currently a care and rehabilitation facility with 33 temporary beds. Kastaniegården receives citizens for closer clarification of care needs, rehabilitation and/or upcoming housing arrangements in the short or long term.

As part of the health reform, this position is transferred from Frederikshavn Municipality to the Region of North Jutland on 1 January 2027.

When you apply for the position, you will therefore become part of a professional area that from 2027 will help develop and operate the new health and care places in the Region of North Jutland. You will have the opportunity to be involved from the beginning and contribute to the development of a new health offering with a focus on a close, coherent and rehabilitative service to the citizens.

The position is essentially 37 hours on the evening shift with weekend work every other weekend in the evening shift. We are very open to involving you in the planning of your upcoming basic schedule and your desired hours/part-time

Your new colleagues are social and health helpers, social and health assistants, nutrition assistant, house assistants, apprentices, physiotherapists and occupational therapists as well as nurses. We believe at Kastaniegården that we ARE each other’s prerequisites for success in completing the task.

We are looking for a colleague who

• Is professionally well-founded and passionate about working with our residents.
• Can work independently, and at the same time be an active participant in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Participates in complex care tasks and relative contact as well as giving and receiving professional sparring with colleagues in everyday work.
• Qualifies and supports health-professional documentation – familiarity with Cura care system is an advantage including FMK – BUT not a decisive necessity, we switch to NEPJ as of 1/1-2027
• Can contribute to competency development, teaching and supervision for colleagues and be a good role model.
• Works preventively, among other things through early detection, interdisciplinary triage and collaboration with external partners.
• Trives in a changing environment with varied tasks.
• Is good at staying calm and having an overview, even in situations with many tasks and high complexity.
• Contributes to the development of the professional environment and implementation of new knowledge and development initiatives.
• You place well-being at the forefront and foster an open, honest and direct dialogue
• That you have the desire and courage to be part of the work ahead, to create a cohesive health system for our citizens

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
