Assistant Security Officer

The Personnel Command is seeking a dedicated and structured senior sergeant for the position as Assistant Security Officer. About the position

As Assistant Security Officer you support the command's Security Officer in planning, coordination and execution of security work in the Personnel Command. The position involves cooperation with several authorities in the Defence and with relevant functions within the security area.

Your tasks will include among others

• Implementation and follow-up on Defence's security regulations
• Development and maintenance of local security instructions and procedures
• Support for handling security clearances, personnel security and physical security
• Planning and delivery of security training for the command's staff
• Advising management, supervisors and staff on security-related matters
• Carrying out internal controls and follow-up on security measures
• Contribution to the development of the security culture in the command

About you

You are civilian with operational experience from the Defence, and an interest in the security field. We place a strong emphasis on motivation and accountability. Terms of employment

The employment is governed by the current collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organisations for academics in the state (Academic Agreement).

Your fixed place of duty will be the Personnel Command in Ballerup.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence's area you are subject to certain special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

You as an employee are obliged to render service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian and other similar operations.
