Assistant Project Manager for the Area and Rights Team (Maternity Leave Cover)

Do you want to help shape the metro of the future in Copenhagen and contribute to more sustainable transport? Then you may be our new assistant project manager in the Area and Rights Team at Metroselskabet and Hovedstadens Letbane, where you will contribute to the work on extending metro line M4 to Nordhavn.

About the job

You will be part of a professionally strong team that works with some of the most complex interfaces in our projects. As an assistant project manager, you will play an important role in supporting the project management and contributing to ensure progress and a solid basis for decision-making in the area and rights domain on the extension of M4 to Nordhavn.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• Support the project management on questions of land acquisition, such as expropriation, cadastral matters, planning legislation, and contract formation.
• Contribute to good and constructive cooperation with affected landowners, third parties, authorities, businesses and the like.
• Collaborate with consultant teams across multiple disciplines and help ensure coherence between the project’s different work areas.
• Coordinate and follow up IT-related tasks and the IT systems that support the project. This means that you familiarize yourself with the systems’ functions, clarify needs and challenges, and ensure progress across relevant parties.

Depending on your profile, the position may have particular emphasis on either the legal and contractual area or on project management, coordination and IT.

Your profile

The most important thing is that you have an interest in and preferably knowledge of the land and rights domain. You thrive in a coordinating role where you, across disciplines, involve relevant parties both internally and externally and create dialogue and progress. At the same time you take responsibility that your tasks are completed as planned. You may be a recent graduate or have a few years of experience.

In addition, we imagine that you

• Have a relevant higher education, e.g., as a surveyor, town planner, generalist or similar.
• Strong written and language skills in both Danish and English
• Work in a structured manner and take responsibility for following up tasks to completion
• Have an interest in digital tools and IT systems
