Bass wanted for the Church Choir of the Church of the Holy Spirit

Helligaandskirken seeks a bass for the position of regular singer.

The position involves regular participation in the high masses, the church's music matins, and liturgical acts, in addition to Evensongs and concert projects.

Rates

High Mass: 908 DKK

Music matins: 389 DKK per matins (approx. 10 per month in 8 months of the year).

Liturgical act: 389 DKK per act up to 45 minutes.

Evensong: 1,037 DKK per Evensong (approx. 8-9 annually).

3-4 Concert projects: typically 3,000-7,000 DKK per project, depending on rehearsal process and scope.

Allowance: 889 DKK per month in availability and qualification allowance.

Extra rehearsals and staff meetings: 130 DKK per half hour

The rates are stated at 2026 level and are adjusted annually. Additionally, 12.5% is transferred to the holiday account.

Practical arrangements

• High Masses on Sundays and holidays at 11:00 with choir rehearsal at 10:15
• Leave eight Sundays a year plus the second day of Easter, where the Saint Anna Girls’ Choir participates
• Music matins take place on weekdays at 12:00 and Wednesdays at 15:00, when there is no Evensong at 17:00
• Opportunity for personal practice in the church premises

We are seeking singers who

• have a well-developed singing technique at conservatory level, with solid experience in ensemble singing and good sight-reading skills, but also with soloist qualifications
• wish to actively contribute to the cantors artistic development
