About the job

If you want to help promote the use of the patient journal, the Health Platform, and other digital solutions that support patient treatment at the region's hospitals, we are currently looking for a new colleague for our upcoming section.

A strengthened system must ensure more time for patients

The combination of health, IT and data holds great potential, and the political ambitions of the Regional Council for the Health Platform are clear: Clinicians must have more time for the patient, the system's quality must be improved, health data must be used more effectively, and patients must be more involved.

As a Clinical IT Consultant you will be a central player in supporting clinical workflows in the Health Platform and other clinical IT systems. Your daily work will be filled with a variety of tasks, ranging from teaching nursing students, analyzing and solving complex cases to participating in maturation and implementation of system updates and targeted initiatives.

You will take a central role in developing teaching materials as well as planning and delivering training for nursing students. In addition, you will analyze and assess complex issues, and ensure bridging between the clinic and relevant partners in solving and evaluating tasks. This includes organizing and hosting workshops with clinicians and end users.

Furthermore, you will be an important player in cross-hospital projects across the hospitals in the Region of East Denmark, where you will contribute to optimizing workflows and ensuring an efficient implementation of the clinical IT solution.

What will you be a part of?

At the start of your employment you will join the Function Use & Implementation in the Corporate Digitalization, Region Zealand. As of January 1, 2027 the position will transfer to the Section Support and Implementation, which is part of the Clinical Applications in Digitalization and Technology (DIT) unit. The section will consist of a section manager and just over 30 employees, all with experience from the health sector.

Your workplace will predominantly be physically present at Mid- and West Zealand Hospital in Ringsted, but there may also be tasks to be solved at Region of East Denmark’s hospitals. There will also be meeting activity at Borgervænget in Copenhagen Ø, which is also one of our locations in DIT.

When you start with us, you will go through an onboarding and training program that prepares you for the role as Clinical IT Consultant.

As a clinical IT consultant I use my health-professional experience to bridge clinical work and IT. It is motivating to help clinicians get the most out of the systems. I have great influence on my tasks – and the social and professional community in the team makes a huge difference in daily life. There is a real focus on professionalism, collaboration and work-life balance here, I can only say: Apply! - Vicki Brink Madsen, upcoming colleague.

Do you have experience with the Health Platform, are you a trained nurse and are you good at meeting students and clinicians at eye level?

We place great emphasis on you being a trained nurse and having gained extensive experience with the Health Platform as well as other digital solutions in your daily work as a nurse in a hospital. You have a positive and appreciative approach to your surroundings, and communicate clearly and credibly. You will work very closely with end users, and must therefore be prepared to deliver results on their terms.

It is also required that you have a driving license and a car, as you will need to move around the region in your work.

Interested?

If the position sounds interesting, please send your application and CV no later than October 21, 2026 at 08:00 . We expect to conduct interviews on October 26, and we wish for the starting date to be December 1, 2026.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement under the principles of new pay. Working hours are 37 hours including lunch with a flexitime arrangement, which ensures a sensible balance between working time and leisure.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Section Manager Line Engelhardt Johansen at tel. 93567933.

The employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the regions and a bargaining-party organization. The starting salary can vary depending on your seniority, experience, education and the geographical location of the workplace.
