Then you could be our new cook at BESTSELLER's warehouse in Haderslev.

Your new everyday life

In the kitchen we prepare daily meals for 350-400 guests from the warehouse and office. They value flavor, variety, and quality, and we give vegetables and vegetarian dishes a natural place on the menu.

In addition to the daily lunch, we also produce dinner and late-night meals for employees on other shifts. Your regular working hours are during the day. If you want, after agreement you can take extra hours on the evening or night shifts and gain experience with other parts of the kitchen.

You will become part of a team of eight colleagues led by an Australian kitchen manager. With his distinctive “Put another shrimp on the barbie!” he sets the tone for a kitchen with good humor, professionalism and room for reflection. We help each other and lift tasks together.

Here we share ideas, take joint responsibility and succeed as a team. You will also have the opportunity to develop yourself in both cold and hot sections.

Your tasks

As a cook you will have a versatile everyday life with responsibility for daily production and for ensuring that guests encounter an inviting and tasty meal. Your tasks include:

• Preparation and presentation of today's lunch buffet
• Menu planning, self-check and goods ordering
• Warehouse counting as well as responsibility for order, cleanup and cleaning
• Meeting service and contribution to upselling

It is important that you

• Are a trained cook and want to use your craft in a canteen everyday life
• Can communicate in Danish and manage a bit of English
• Thrive in collaboration and contribute to a helpful and respectful tone
• Have an eye for quality in both preparation and presentation and have practical experience as a cook from a professional kitchen

• Working hours Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:00 and Friday 07:00-14:30
