Become a daycare educator in Vordingborg Municipality

About you

• You are a trained educator and have experience with children's development in the 0-3 years age range.
• You are a good sparring partner and can communicate your knowledge in a respectful manner.
• You have a natural, recognizing and positive approach to other people, whether they are children, parents, colleagues or other collaborators.
• You are engaged, trustworthy and have good collaboration skills.
• You are good at communicating both verbally and in writing.
• You are certified in the supervision and quality tool KIDS or interested in becoming so.
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge of TOPI and experience in using it to develop pedagogical practice.
• You have a driver's license and can make your own car available.
• You can work independently, are proactive and adaptable.

Your tasks

• To provide sparring and guidance to the day-care providers based on the strengthened pedagogical curriculum, the individual day-care provider and their child group.
• To strengthen and develop the pedagogical quality in the day-care based on Vordingborg Municipality's visions and guiding principles.
• To collaborate across disciplines with other professional groups, day-care providers, parents etc. to support each child's well-being.
• To hold startup meetings together with the day-care providers, upcoming children and their parents.
• To supervise the day-care providers based on KIDS.
• A number of administrative tasks, including documentation and journaling.

Salary and terms of employment

This is a permanent position of 30 hours per week. Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the current agreement with FOA.

Please note that before employment a child and criminal record check, as well as references, will be obtained and that the employment will be conditional on these being satisfactory.

The position is to commence on 1 January 2027.
