Care & Welfare in Skive Municipality is seeking students for the social and health care helper education starting at Grundforløb 2 on January 15, 2027.

Education program

• Grundforløb 2 starts in January 2027 and lasts 20 weeks
• Completed Grundforløb 2 provides access to the main course as a social and health care helper
• The main course starts in June 2027 and lasts 1 year and 2 months

In the education

In Grundforløb 2 you learn the basic theory in the subject, and practise skills

• basic subjects in Danish and natural sciences
• communication, teamwork and conflict
• health promotion and disease prevention, rehabilitation
• welfare technology, ergonomics and hygiene

In the main course you learn that

• work professionally and interdisciplinary with care and rehabilitation in relation to people with physical, mental and social problems
• perform care tasks, nursing and practical help
• develop yourself personally in the professional work with people

We offer

• wage during both Grundforløb 2 and the main course
• an vocational education that includes both apprenticeship and theory
• theory teaching at Vevo-skolen in Skive
• apprenticeships in Care & Welfare in Skive Municipality at care homes and in home care
• guidance in the apprenticeship

We expect that you

• are personally engaged and motivated in the education
• take responsibility for your education, both theory and apprenticeship
