The start date may depend on your experience and background, as you can receive credit/merit for example for previously completed educations, practical experience and completed subjects from previous educations.

We are looking for trainees for

• Social and Health Helper education (SSH)
• Social and Health Assistant education (SSA)

As an SSH or SSA trainee you receive an education where you both theoretically and practically learn to carry out tasks for citizens and patients with a focus on holistic care, rehabilitation and welfare technology. You will do practical training at nursing homes, in mobile home care, psychiatry and/or at a hospital – depending on the education.

We emphasize that you

• are eager to learn, set yourself goals and take responsibility
• are curious, proactive and see opportunities rather than limitations

The educations can be a stepping stone to further education, e.g. SSA (from SSH), nurse, social worker, physiotherapist or occupational therapist.

Admission requirements (short)

• SSH: 9th/10th grade + GF1 and GF2 (only GF2 for adults with relevant experience)
• SSA: completed SSH education or GF2 aimed at SSA

Salary and terms

You are employed on apprentice wage in Faxe Municipality during the entire education, 37 hours per week. There is a possibility for adult apprentice wage according to applicable rules.

Important

Attach documentation for education, courses, work experience, first aid, fire fighting and possibly recommendations. You must be able to present a criminal record and preferably a recognition of prior learning (RPL).
