Social and Health Care Assistant Apprentice in Læsø Municipality 2027

If you become one of the municipality's Social and Health Care Assistant trainees we offer you a targeted learning program with structure, skilled supervising mentors, and a daily routine where you have the opportunity to develop yourself professionally and personally.

You will be trained to plan, perform and coordinate complex nursing-related issues, such as medication administration, providing tube feeding, caring for chronic wounds, etc. The workday is very varied and can include basic nursing and rehabilitation in the citizens' own homes or in the close health care system.

The training includes a period of onboarding at municipal training sites and onboarding at the hospital. The school part takes place at SOSU School in Hjørring.

You must send us an application for a trainee place if

• You are currently in or have already completed SOSU - basic course 2
• You have completed a Social and Health Care Helper education.
• You have parts of a nursing education.

To be considered for a Social and Health Care Assistant trainee position you must

• Be ready to be challenged professionally and personally and be prepared to invest time in a demanding education
• Be skilled in relating to others and able to work from others’ needs
• Be proper and conscientious
• Keep appointments and come in well prepared.
• Be curious about others and reflective about your own and others’ actions.
• Take co-responsibility for your own learning and development
• Be prepared that your onboarding may include weekend, evening - and night shifts
• You must be able to work 37 hours per week on average and expect that the workday typically starts at 7:00.
