About the job

Do you dream of helping to secure the conditions for Copenhageners' culture and leisure life?

Good facilities are a prerequisite for Copenhageners to have a good and active leisure life. Therefore, the City of Copenhagen continuously invests in new opportunities – and has established a number of funds that help Copenhageners' ideas and initiatives on their way with contributions to exciting construction projects.

About the position

You will primarily work with managing these funds, including processing applications, ongoing contact with associations, and handling the disbursement of grants and other administrative tasks. Depending on competencies and the office's workload, it will also be possible to assist the project manager in developing new sports and culture facilities.

Your tasks

  • Process applications to the city's grant funds
  • Advice to associations and other actors on application procedures, grant agreements, budgets, and accounts
  • Prepare grant agreements
  • Follow up on accounts and disbursement of grants
  • Prepare overviews, write texts for the website and contribute to making our work visible
  • Various ad-hoc tasks, including helping to plan and facilitate citizen meetings and other events – and create PowerPoint presentations.

About you

  • You are enrolled in a relevant higher education program - e.g. geography, urban planning, sports or similar - and have at least two years left of your studies.
  • You are persistent and thrive with repetitive administrative and operational tasks
  • You work systematically and independently and have a structured approach to your tasks
  • You are curious and quickly get to grips with new systems
  • You are interested in the city's culture and leisure life and want to make a difference for Copenhageners.

Experience with grant management is an advantage – but the most important thing is that you want to learn. Of course, we will provide thorough training.

About us

Planning is part of Planning and Grants in the Culture, Leisure and Citizen Service Administration, where we work to develop and support the city's culture and leisure life. We develop the city's new culture and leisure facilities and support schemes for construction for the benefit of the city's many associations and residents.

Salary and employment terms

You will be employed under the applicable collective agreement with a weekly working time of 15 hours, where we adjust the working hours during exam periods. There may be a possibility of more hours in selected periods.

We wish to fill the position as soon as possible.

We will obtain references in connection with the employment. You must be able to document that you are a student in active study.

The Culture, Leisure and Citizen Service Administration

In the Culture, Leisure and Citizen Service Administration, we work every day to create good frameworks for the city's culture and leisure life, and to provide Copenhageners and city guests with professional and approachable service. From libraries, cultural centers and museums to sports facilities, citizen service and the city's green spaces – we create frameworks for communities where Copenhageners can meet and express themselves. Our shared goal is to make Copenhagen a good place to live, meet and engage.
