Become an important adult in Leeloos' daily life – Temporary § 32 support in Amager

Olivia Denmark is seeking a committed and relationship-focused employee for a temporary support role with 14-year-old Leeloo , who lives with her mother in Amager.

The position is granted under the Child Act § 32 and is temporary for up to 1 year , or until a more permanent offer is established. The hours can be adjusted over time in line with Leeloo's development, the family's needs and the municipal grant.

Who is Leeloo?

Leeloo is a sweet and calm girl who loves presence, creative activities, music, phone and iPad. After school she often needs a quiet afternoon where she can relax together with a reassuring adult.

She has tuberous sclerosis, epilepsy, ADHD and an intellectual disability, which means she needs structure, predictability and a familiar adult who can support her through the day's activities.

The most important thing for Leeloo is not that something is happening all the time – but that she experiences calm, safety and an adult who is present and follows her pace.

About the task

You will become an important part of Leeloo's everyday life and work based on a fixed and structured daily plan.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday are school days. Leeloo comes home by taxi at the start of the shift, where you greet her. After that you follow a calm afternoon structure with a snack, cozy time and activities based on her day form. This could be creative activities, music, drawing or games on a phone or iPad.

The long shift is roughly every other Thursday , depending on mother's work schedule. On this day Leeloo is off school, and you follow a fixed daily structure with pedagogical support, meal support and calm activities. If the weather and Leeloo's day form allow, you can also go for a short walk or do other smaller activities outside the home.

You work alone in the home, but are thoroughly introduced to both the educational/therapeutic efforts and Leeloo's needs. You receive ongoing sparring from the area manager.

We are looking for you who

Are trained as a pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, social and health care assistant or have another relevant social field background. If you have solid experience from similar support tasks, we would also very much like to hear from you.

• Is calm, caring and patient.
• Can create structure and safe frames.
• Enjoys working independently.
• Has an appreciative approach and naturally works from Low Arousal principles.
• Wants to become an important and familiar adult in Leeloo's daily life.

Working hours

The current shift plan is

Monday 12.00–16.00

Wednesday 12.00–15.45

Friday 12.00–15.45

Thursday every 2 weeks from 07.30–15.45

Start as soon as possible and by agreement.
