Board Consultant for DAB-Lejerbo

We are seeking a board consultant for DAB-Lejerbo on Frederiksberg with responsibility for housing associations in Værløse. With us you will have a daily life filled with variety, where you advise and guide resident democrats, navigate a politically governed world and collaborate closely with a strong multidisciplinary team.

Your role

As a board consultant you will be an advisor and sparring partner for the resident-elected boards. You will need to advise on what they can and may do within the law, and the consequences of the decisions they make.

You will join a collaboration in a multidisciplinary team consisting of operations manager, finance consultant and department secretary, where you will take on a coordinating role. You will also have access to specialists in areas such as construction and law.

Your main tasks will be

• Board servicing of company boards and department boards, including guidance and sparring
• Preparation of agendas and minutes for resident democratic meetings
• Participation and meeting leadership in meetings with residents, boards and municipalities
• Participation in departmental meetings, presentation and review of budgets and accounts, and in some cases acting as chair
• General case handling with preparation of notes, applications, implementation of decisions from the resident democracy, etc.

We hold meetings with the boards in their spare time. This means that you will in periods have several evening meetings. You also have flexible frameworks to adjust your workday as needed.

Who are you?

You are outgoing, proactive and take the initiative, while you are good at creating and maintaining relationships. You can keep an overview even when it is busy, and you want to dive into new tasks and situations. You are curious about numbers and communicate clearly and understandably.

Two days rarely look the same, and you must be able to switch focus from planned tasks to what arises along the way. Therefore it is important that you are flexible, structured and can continuously prioritize your tasks.

You have an academic or other relevant background. Experience from or knowledge of the public housing sector is an advantage. You will receive an induction program and close professional support from your colleagues so that you are well prepared for the role.
