About the job

Would you like to help educate the bioanalysts of the future, develop your colleagues' skills and contribute to a strong professional community?

We are seeking an engaged and academically well-founded bioanalyst instructor who is passionate about teaching, guidance and competence development, and who wants to make a difference for both students and colleagues.

We are a department with high professional quality, strong cooperation and a focus on responsibility, respect and trust. With us you will become part of an engaged professional community where knowledge sharing, participation and development are a natural part of everyday life.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues, specialists and managers, and to shape your impact on teaching, competence development and professional development tasks. As a bioanalyst instructor you play an important role in creating safe learning environments and supporting professional development and collaboration across the department.

About the position

As a bioanalyst instructor you will be part of a team of 2-3 bioanalyst instructors who together are responsible for planning, coordinating and carrying out the clinical teaching of our bioanalyst students as well as the ongoing competence development of the department's staff.

You will help ensure coherence between theory and practice and contribute to both students and staff developing the competencies needed in a modern clinical biochemical department.

The position combines teaching, guidance and development tasks with participation in the department's laboratory work. This ensures that the instruction remains closely anchored in clinical practice and technological development

Your primary workplace will be at Blegdamsvej , but there will also be collaboration and tasks at our campuses in Glostrup.

Your key duties

You will, among other things, need to

  • Plan, coordinate and carry out teaching programs for bioanalyst students.
  • Take part in theoretical and practical teaching based on study regulations, educational plans and learning objectives.
  • Guide, evaluate and participate in examinations of students.
  • Create good and safe learning environments with room for different learning needs and professional prerequisites.
  • Participate in introduction, teaching and competence development of the department's staff.
  • Develop teaching materials and contribute to new teaching forms and learning methods.
  • Collaborate with Copenhagen University College of Professional Education (Københavns Professionshøjskole) and other relevant educational institutions.
  • Participate in the department's laboratory operations to retain and further develop your clinical and professional competencies.
  • Contribute to a good working environment where professional sparring, collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

Who are you?

We envision that you

  • Are educated and authorized bioanalyst, preferably with experience from clinical biochemistry.
  • Have an interest in teaching, guidance and development of both students and colleagues.
  • Have relevant pedagogical further education, for example clinical supervisor education, or a desire to complete it.
  • Are professionally curious and interested in new methods, technology and development.
  • Are good at conveying professional knowledge and creating motivation and engagement in others.
  • Work independently, in a structured manner and take responsibility for your tasks.
  • Are proactive, development-oriented and eager to contribute with your own ideas.
  • Contribute positively to a working environment characterized by responsibility, respect, trust and good collegiality.
  • It is not essential that you already have experience with all teaching tasks. The most important thing is that you have a strong professional foundation, a desire to learn and a commitment to developing others.

What do we offer?

We offer an exciting and versatile position where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference for both future bioanalysts and your colleagues' professional development.

With us you get

  • A strong professional environment with engaged and competent colleagues.
  • A varied workday with teaching, guidance, development tasks and laboratory work.
  • The opportunity to influence and further develop the department's teaching and competence development.
  • Opportunity for relevant pedagogical further education and professional development.
  • Close collaboration with colleagues and management across the department's areas.
  • Participation and influence on the planning of your tasks.
  • An employer that actively works with well-being, cooperation and a good working environment.
