Biomass Planner for Bigadan

Then you may be our new biomass planner.

At Bigadan we work every day to expand the possibilities within biogas and circular energy. We purchase and handle large amounts of biomass from Denmark and abroad, which must be distributed between our biogas plants and end up as biogas, biofuels, biogenic CO2, certificates and much more.

About the job

The position is newly established. You will be responsible for the concrete planning of which biomasses are to be delivered, in what quantities, to which facilities and when. This means that our production and the employees at our plants depend on your sense of systematization, your overview and your decision-making ability.

The plan must not only work in a spreadsheet. It must be usable in reality and continuously adapted to changes in deliveries, capacity, storage, biomass quality and process conditions.

Your main tasks

• take over planning of purchased biomasses, have daily contact with logistics and coordinate with the plants
• create and maintain contract data, delivery profiles and contract quantities
• follow up on deviations, create an overview of the consequences for the coming weeks and ensure communication across production
• provide a structured data basis for forecast and monthly reporting
• contribute to the development and standardization of our planning tools and workflows

You must be able to react when reality changes, but at the same time maintain structure, traceability and one common plan across the organization.

Who are you?

Your educational background is not decisive. You could for example have experience from an administrative or coordinating function within agriculture, feed materials, logistics, process industry or another production company.

It is not essential that you are a specialist in biogas or biological processes. We have strong professional competencies in the organization that can assist you with technical and biological sparring.

The most important is that you understand the link between planning and practical operations, have the desire and ability to learn new things and convert knowledge into a clear and realistic plan.

We imagine that you

• have experience with planning, coordination or operations follow-up
• work structured, are proactive and follow your tasks through to the end
• have a strong numeracy and systems understanding, are an experienced user of Excel and would preferably have experience with larger data sets
• can prioritize when needs, capacity and contract quantities do not fit together
• are outgoing, curious and proactive, communicate openly and clearly in both Danish and English and thrive in a day with a large contact surface across disciplines
• Experience from the biogas industry is an advantage but not a requirement. The important thing is that you are curious, learn quickly and want to understand the connection between contracts, biomass, process, production and logistics.

You succeed in the role when the organization works from one consolidated and updated biomass plan and utilizes full capacity at the plants.

Your daily life at Bigadan

Your workplace will be at Bigadan's head office in Skanderborg, where we offer pension scheme and health insurance as well as canteen, fruit and massage schemes. You report to our Biomass Supply Chain Manager and become part of a down-to-earth organization with short decision paths and good opportunities to influence task solving yourself. On a daily basis you work closely with procurement, process specialists, logistics and colleagues at our biogas plants.

About Bigadan
