Kindergarten Class Teacher for Sletten School, Krogsbølle Department

We are looking for a kindergarten class teacher who is passionate about being part of Sletten School, Krogsbølle division.

The position

The position is a permanent appointment from 1 December 2026 at 37 hours per week. As an applicant you can indicate if you wish to be hired at a lower hourly rate.

As a kindergarten class teacher you will become a central adult in children's first encounter with the school. You will have an important role in creating safe frameworks, smooth transitions from daycare to school, and inclusive learning environments where all children experience themselves as meaningful participants in the community.

Your tasks will include

• plan and carry out teaching and activities in the kindergarten class, with a particular focus on learning through play
• work systematically with children’s wellbeing, relationships and opportunities to participate
• support children’s linguistic, social and personal development
• create structures and learning environments that provide participation opportunities for all children
• collaborate closely with teachers, pedagogues, resource center and management
• contribute to good transitions from daycare to school
• participate in professional team collaboration with a focus on reflection and development of practice
• actively collaborate with parents as an important resource in children’s development

In upcoming subject allocations you should expect to be assigned to SFO for a smaller part of the schedule, corresponding to up to five hours per week. At a contractual time of 32 hours per week or less, this will not be relevant.

We are a school district spread over four campuses, aiming to develop all district’s children personally, socially and academically. You will have three other kindergarten class teachers as colleagues.

We always have ambitions on behalf of each child - regardless of the child’s starting point. In the coming school year we will work on implementing our shared view of children.

Expected salary range will be provided at the first interview. The final salary is set based on your qualifications and previous work experience and after concrete negotiations with the trade union.
