About the job

We are seeking a self-driven, responsible and engaged employee who is trained as a nutritional assistant, cook or has other relevant experience with cooking in larger kitchens. The most important thing is that you have the right competencies, can work independently and are passionate about making good food for children in both nurseries and kindergartens – about 80 children in total.

We want to give the children good dining experiences with healthy, varied and tasty food, taking into account their age, needs and appetite. We emphasize that the meals are characterized by joy of eating, quality and consideration and of course all the organic that the budget can bear.

About us

The Squid Daycare (Børnehuset Blæksprutten) is a self-governing institution under the national association Danske Daginstitutioner. We offer good opportunities for physical activity, both in the building where we have a hall and a cafe, but also on our playground and in the local area. We are located in a scenic area with walking distance to forest and beach.

The institution consists of a nursery section normed to 24 children and a kindergarten normed to 56 children. In addition, the building is used for cultural events and day care on Fridays, in the winter period.

Information about starting salary

Employment is in accordance with the collective agreement for health visitors, nutrition assistants, professional bachelor degrees in nutrition and health, pharmacists, dental hygienists, etc., §§ 3-5 on pay setting. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is 28,146 DKK / falls in the range 28,146 - 34,123 DKK depending on seniority. It should be noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
