Boområde East - Søndergade is seeking 3 social work professionals for 37 hours per week

As we have the opportunity to expand our team, we are currently seeking 3 new colleagues. The positions are 37 hours per week, scheduled for day and evening shifts as well as work every third weekend.

Who are we

At Botilbuddet Søndergade there live 19 fantastic residents. The offering is a 24-hour service with 18 apartments attached according to the Danish ALmenboliglovens §105, stk. 2, and the Servicelovens § 85, located in Gudme.

The residents are characterized by physical and/or mental disabilities. A common trait is that, in addition to a developmental disability, they have a need for specialized individual social-pedagogical support to master their own lives and to interact in social exchanges.

Health-related efforts at the site are handled by health care staff or elder care.

Our core task is to support each resident's opportunities for independence, development and mastery of their own life.

We base our work on the individual resident's resources, needs and prerequisites and are focused on creating the best possible conditions for well-being, participation and development.

Through professional reflection, systematic documentation and ongoing evaluation we develop and adjust our pedagogical efforts so that they are based on each resident's needs and life situation.

We have a shared ambition to be methodologically strong and continuously develop our professional language and pedagogical practice.

About you

We are looking for a pedagog or a colleague with another relevant educational background and experience within the specialized social field.

We emphasize that you are professionally curious, engaged and have the willingness to bring yourself and your professionalism into play.

• Have knowledge of or a desire to work with LA2U as a method
• Have the courage to navigate in changes
• Understand a rehabilitative approach.
• Can work systematically with goals, interventions and pedagogical documentation
• Can reflect on your own professional practice.
• Are prepared for shift work

Salary and hiring terms

Start on January 1, 2027.

The positions are 37 hours per week or as agreed.

The working hours cover all days of the week in the time between 6:30 and 23:00 with weekend work every 3rd weekend.

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement.

In Svendborg Municipality the salary for this type of position typically ranges between 37,948 DKK and 48,846 DKK per month for full-time employment including pension, special holiday allowance and fixed allowances. The final salary is determined based on experience, seniority and competencies and is negotiated with the relevant professional organization.
