Educator sought for social psychiatric housing community

Some days it's about a good conversation at the kitchen table. Other days about creating calm in chaos, supporting a person through powerlessness or celebrating a small step that has been long in coming.

With us no day is the same, but common to them all is that you have the opportunity to make a real difference for people with mental health challenges and/or acquired brain injury.

We are looking for dedicated pedagogues for permanent positions of 32-35 hours per week in mixed shifts and every 3rd weekend.

We are a social-psychiatric housing community with 20 residents, where we work every day so that people can live a safe, meaningful and autonomous life.

For us, the relationship is the most important tool. We believe that development occurs when people meet with respect, curiosity and belief in their resources.

You will become part of an engaged team with high professional standards, humor and strong solidarity. We help each other, consult with each other and stand together when the tasks become complex.

Who are you?

You are a trained pedagogue and passionate about relational work.

Perhaps you have experience from social psychiatry, perhaps you come with other valuable experiences. The most important is that you:

• Can create secure and trusting relationships
• See the person behind the diagnosis
• Work in an affirming and recovery-oriented way
• Can maintain calm and overview in challenging situations
• Are professionally curious and reflective
• Thrive with both independent work and close collaboration
• Can work purposefully and systematically with documentation in Nexus
• Can contribute pedagogy into the multidisciplinary collaboration

We value experience with psychiatry, personality disorders, autism, acquired brain injury, self-harm, KRAP, NADA but it is not decisive.

You must have a driver's license and be willing to participate in activities with the residents, whether it is walking, cycling, swimming, winter bathing, bowling, etc.
