Hertughaven Residential Care Facility is seeking on January 1, 2027 or by agreement a technical service assistant preferably with relevant craft background.

The position is 37 hours per week. The number of hours is negotiable if fewer hours are desired.

Hertughaven Residential Care Facility is a Socialpsychiatric residential facility for people with mental illness, where several besides their mental illness have challenges related to substance abuse and other social issues. Hertughaven Residential Care Facility consists of 40 residential housing units and 19 center-near housing units.

Hertughaven's Service Department functions as a training site for people employed on special terms.

About the position

Responsibilities include

• Exterior and interior maintenance of buildings and furnishings
• Maintenance of heating installations
• Servicing of fire systems and panic alarms
• Management of chip and key systems.
• To tend and maintain outdoor areas, green spaces, etc.
• Participate in winter maintenance
• To handle waste, etc.
• Participation in cleaning tasks to a lesser extent

• Has a driver's license
• Can use IT
• Is willing to be on call outside normal working hours
• Wants to interact with residents and relatives
• Can collaborate with the other staff at Hertughaven Residential Care Facility

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to the principles of Ny Løn and applicable collective agreement.
