About us

The Patent- and Trademark Office is a dynamic, modern and market-oriented part of the Ministry of Industry. Its mission is to help companies turn ideas into assets. Our core task is to process applications for patents, utility models, trademarks and designs, and we work to ensure that Danish companies have the rights to their own ideas, so we create the best possible conditions for growth and development – both in and outside Denmark. What unites all of our employees is that they provide qualified and professional service in a business- and customer-oriented organization.

You will become part of the Digital Business Development (DIFU) unit at the Patent- and Trademark Office with 30 dedicated employees, where we work purposefully with modern technology, cloud and automation. We have a strong professional environment with an informal tone, where sparring and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life. We work closely across teams and prioritize both quality and progress. We are spread across two sections: a Development and Infrastructure section and a PMO, DevOps and IT Support section. This position is located in our PMO, DevOps and IT Support section.

You will thus become part of a unit with skilled and helpful colleagues, where we strike a good balance between humor, personal engagement and high professionalism. We work in a modern house with open offices, and we are located in Taastrup and Ikast. As of January 1, 2027, the Taastrup office will move to new premises at Langelinie Allé 17, 2100 Copenhagen Ø. Your workplace will be at Langelinie Allé 17.

In the Patent- and Trademark Office we safeguard each other's well-being and prioritize a good working environment. We have, among other things, a staff association that arranges various social events, a massage scheme, canteen arrangements and the option for home work – the extent of which depends on the tasks and is done in agreement with the nearest supervisor.

The position is full-time with paid lunch break and flexible working hours. The working language is Danish, but communication with international partners takes place in English.
