Construction Manager for social housing renovation in a main contract

We are seeking an experienced construction manager for our department of general housing renovation, where we carry out projects in main contract.

You will become part of an organization focused on structure, quality and integrity – both in execution and in collaboration with colleagues, partners and residents.

Your role

As a construction manager you are responsible for the daily planning, coordination and follow-up on the construction site.

You ensure that the work is carried out in the correct sequence, in the agreed quality and in accordance with the project materials. At the same time you have a sharp focus on progress and are consistent in your follow-up.

You act as a link between the project manager, tradespeople and subcontractors and play a central role in translating the project conditions into a well-functioning production.

Your primary tasks

• Daily planning and management of production on the construction site
• Coordination of tradespeople, disciplines and subcontractors
• Ongoing follow-up on progress, quality and staffing
• Ensuring correct execution in accordance with project materials and agreements
• Participation in construction meetings and close coordination with the project manager
• Quality assurance, documentation and follow-up on completed work
• Identification and handling of challenges in the execution
• Ensuring structure, order and overview on the construction site
• Dialogue with residents and handling of work in inhabited properties

Who are you?

You are an experienced construction manager with a strong practical background and a natural authority on the construction site.

We expect that you

• Are trained as a craftsman (e.g., carpenter or similar)
• Preferably have further education as a building constructor or equivalent experience
• Have solid experience from the construction site
• Have experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
• Work systematically and follow up consistently
• Have a sharp eye for detail
• Communicate clearly and professionally
