Carelink Pleje Herning is seeking a head of department

Are you structured, solution-oriented and good at getting many ends to meet? Do you have experience with duty roster planning, leadership, coordination and an understanding of the daily life in home care? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for as department head for Carelink Pleje in the Herning department.

About the position

As department head you will play a central role in ensuring that our field staff have the best possible framework to deliver care and support to citizens. You will be responsible for planning and coordination and work closely with the operations manager, the quality nurse, the planner and other administrative colleagues.

Your tasks will include

• Daily route and shift planning in collaboration with the operations manager
• Ongoing follow-up and adjustment of plans in cases of illness, absence and changes
• Collaboration with HR on registration, hours and absence
• Dialogue with field staff and management about staffing and priorities
• Use and maintenance of planning systems (we use Cura Plan)
• 37 hours, but agreeable to variable hours including on-call/acute phone in rotation schedule.

Who are you?

• You are preferably skilled in the health field (occupational therapist, physiotherapist, nurse or similar). Preferably experience with shift planning, knowledge of CURA and a managerial education or background.
• You are structured, systematic and good at staying calm when things change
• Enjoys leading employees.
• Thrive in collaborating with other management and staff
• You have a knack for IT and systems
• You understand the daily life of home care and the importance of stable operations
