About the job
Would you like to use your occupational therapy or physiotherapy professional skills in an authority role where good solutions are created close to the citizen and in collaboration with skilled colleagues?
Then we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are seeking a case-handling assistive device therapist for our authority area in Health and Elderly Care. You will be part of an experienced group of therapists, where we help each other, share our knowledge and together find solutions when a case requires a little more.
With us you get a daily life with both independent responsibility and a strong professional community. The tasks span broadly within the assistive devices area including e.g. smaller housing cases, assistive devices, seating positions, other assistive device solutions, but you will primarily treat applications for body-worn assistive devices.
Your everyday life with us
As a case-handling therapist you follow cases from application and professional assessment to decision and follow-up. You meet citizens with greatly varying needs, and therefore two workdays are rarely the same.
You will among other things work with
- case management within the assistive device area under the Danish Service Act sections 112, 113 and 116
- body-worn assistive devices
- assessment and professional evaluation of the citizen's needs
- advice and guidance to citizens and relatives
- smaller housing modifications and complex assistive device solutions
- written decisions and documentation in NEXUS
- coordination and collaboration with colleagues and other professional groups both inside and outside the organization.
- Phone shifts
- Close collaboration with colleagues in Technology and the Assistive Device Depot.
Part of the work takes place with citizens at their homes, where your therapeutic expertise is important when needs, functional ability and possible solutions must be assessed in the citizen's actual daily life.
Who are you?
You are educated as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist and want to work at the intersection of professional assessment, legislation, dialogue with the citizen and concrete solutions.
We expect you to
- work holistically and be able to translate your therapeutic expertise into good solutions
- have an eye for both the citizen's needs and the frameworks we work within
- communicate clearly, respectfully and at eye level
- be good in writing and preferably have experience in preparing decisions
- have knowledge of or interest in authority work and the administrative rules
- be able to create structure and keep overview, even when there are many different tasks
- thrive with collaboration and professional sparring
- prefer to have experience with or interest in housing changes.
- have a valid driver's license.
You will become part of a professional community
You will become part of a group of dedicated colleagues, where professional sparring is a natural part of daily life. We believe that we find the best solutions when we bring our different experiences and professional perspectives into play.
You also get the opportunity to dive into your own cases and take responsibility for task solving.
We offer among other things
- a permanent 37-hour-a-week position
- a strong professional environment with dedicated colleagues
- opportunity for sparring, learning and professional development
- a varied everyday life with both independent and shared tasks
- association with a fixed home care area and fixed nursing homes
- mentorship program and a good introduction to the tasks.

Start date: January 1, 2027 or by agreement.
Employment: Permanent position, 37 hours per week. Application deadline 22.11.26. Interviews 26.11.26 in the morning.
Salary and terms of employment : According to the current collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.
