About the department

We are 38 employees in Citizen Service, Benefit and Job Administration, of which 5 will be in the same team as you. Citizen Service consists of 2 teams and is organizationally attached to the Labor Market area.

We have an informal and respectful tone and respect each other’s differences, which we see as a strength for us.

We take pride in solving our tasks as well and as efficiently as possible. We are therefore, together with the rest of the Labor Market area, in the process of developing our digital competences.

We are a department that is both professionally and organizationally preparing for the future, including new physical premises. This means that we are facing a change that provides an opportunity to influence the direction we should take. The Town Hall will be rebuilt into a Citizen House, expected to be ready in summer 2028. The actual reconstruction begins in January 2027, which means that the department will move to temporary premises close to the Town Hall, while citizen service continues at the Town Hall.
