About the job

Become a day-care provider in Tjørring – a job with high job satisfaction, presence and freedom in everyday life

Do you want to make a difference for the youngest children?

Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for as a day-care provider in Tjørring.

As a day-care provider you will become an important part of small children's everyday life. You closely follow their development and create safe environments for play, learning and togetherness. At the same time, you will have great influence on your workday and a good balance between work and private life.

A nationwide survey shows that day-care providers are among the professional groups that experience the highest job satisfaction. We understand that well. Every day you will be met by curious children who look forward to exploring the world together with you, whether it takes place in the garden, on the play area or on trips in the local area.

You are not alone

Although you work from home, you become part of a strong professional community.

You regularly meet with your colleagues in playroom groups, where you share experiences and spar with each other about everyday life. In addition you will receive support from a mentor in the start-up period, a day-care consultant and your trust and occupational safety representative.

We ensure a good start with an intro day and close support in the first period, so you get started well in the role of day-care provider.

We are looking for you who

  • want to work with children aged 0-3 years
  • are caring, attentive and responsible
  • can create safe and developmentally rewarding environments for the children
  • thrive with independence and responsibility
  • are eager for professional development.

Experience as a day-care provider is not a requirement. The most important is that you have the drive and commitment.

Short about the job

  • You care for a group of four children and, in periods, a guest child.
  • You create a safe and developmentally rewarding everyday life for the children.
  • You will receive ongoing sparring from your day-care consultant.
  • Your own child under 2 years and 9 months may be included in the child group.
  • Your home and any garden must be approved for day care.

We offer

  • 60% tax deduction for wear and tear, consumption and meals.
  • Around 7 weeks of time off per year through holidays, comp time and extra days off.
  • Training in ICDP and good opportunities for competence development.
  • A strong professional community.
  • A meaningful job where you make a difference for children and families every day.

Working hours

The opening hours are 48 hours per week and are set within the time frame 06:00-18:00 according to the needs of the families. Typically the opening hours are between 06:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday and 06:30-14:30 Friday.
