The group of day care providers in Virklund consists of 4 day care providers.

Silkeborg Municipal Daycare currently employs 150 day care providers, 8 pedagogical leaders and administrative staff. We care for about 550 children.

We expect you to

• Have the will and ability to collaborate with many different family constellations, values and cultures
• Enter into close cooperation with colleagues and other partners
• Participate actively in full-day playgroups and contribute to quality
• Be open to learning and continuing your education
• Work closely with the organization, where guidance and support from the pedagogical leader is central

We prefer that your home is allergy-friendly.

Salaries and working hours

Salaries and employment conditions according to the applicable collective agreement and the local pay arrangement. In addition, 60% of the salary is tax-deductible exclusive of the labor market contribution, to cover day care costs. (see the Tax Agency website)

If you are a pedagogical assistant or pedagogue, it triggers a further six pay steps.

The position is 48 hours per week, and the hours may fall in the time frame from 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

How your working hours exactly look depends on the care needs of your specific group of children.
