Do you have experience leading construction projects and renovation tasks in a municipality? Do you understand that all tasks in a department are connected and have meaning in daily collaboration? We are incredibly busy and are seeking a project manager to help us. Our new colleague will partly work in close collaboration with our experienced project managers on large construction projects, but also take on own construction tasks of various kinds.

The position is located in the Division Support, Projects and Building Operations, where the team “Construction and Operations” carries out both larger civil engineering projects, conversions, renovations, planned maintenance of varying size and complexity, as well as daily building operations. You must therefore be willing to manage several different projects within construction and maintenance – large and small – and engage in close collaboration and sparring with colleagues.

Your primary tasks

• Project management on construction and renovation projects as well as planned maintenance within the property area.
• Tendering, obtaining bids, contracting and construction management.
• Involvement and dialogue with stakeholders.
• Ensure handover from construction project to operations.
• Review of the municipality's properties with regard to maintenance and renovation.
• Contribute to building operations.

• Masters professional management of construction and renovation projects.
• Is an experienced project manager.
• Has knowledge of the building registry tool DALUX or a similar system.
• Understands working in the public sector.
• Will colleagues, collaboration and our department – it must be fun and nice to come to work!
• Because relational work is important and is good at communicating.
• Has strong collaboration skills – functioning well in a team, but can also take independent responsibility, and is flexible in terms of jointly handling the department's tasks.
• Sees a strength in cross-functional and interdisciplinary collaboration.

We imagine that you are educated as a building engineer, architect or building constructor, supplemented with a project management education and experience from a municipality or the public sector. Maybe you have another background, but we expect that you know the frameworks, rules and guidelines for construction. If you have knowledge of LCA rules, climate renovation and sustainable operation it is a plus.

Salary and employment terms

The position can be filled by several professional groups. Salary and terms of employment are therefore determined according to the relevant collective agreement. About the area of Properties, Facilities and Premises (EFA)

The EFA's overall purpose is to support the municipality's physical framework and internal operations and services. The area has the operational and development responsibility for about 120 properties and the municipality's outdoor areas. The area consists of the following departments:

• EFA Operations which is care and operation of outdoor areas, cleaning and operation of the municipality's swimming pool and sports facilities
• EFA Town Hall which is the Administration, Project and Building Operations division. The Administration and Property Development team is anchored in this division. In addition, the department handles renovation, maintenance and operation of the municipality's properties, as well as larger civil engineering projects.
