About Silkeborg Municipal Daycare

The group of day-care providers in Balle consists of 17 day-care providers who are distributed in smaller playroom groups.

Silkeborg Municipal Daycare currently employs 150 day-care providers, 8 pedagogical leaders and administrative staff. We care for about 550 children.

• Support the pedagogical curricula with a basis in motor skills, language, social skills, personal development, nature and culture
• Have the will and ability to cooperate with many different family constellations, values and cultures
• Participate in close cooperation with colleagues and other partners
• Actively participate in full-day playrooms and contribute to quality
• Be open to learning and further training
• Collaborate closely with the organization, where guidance and support from the pedagogical leader are central

We prefer that your home is allergen-free.

Salary and working hours

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and local wage formation agreement. Additionally, 60% of the salary is tax-deductible excluding labor market contribution, to cover day-care costs. (see the Tax Authority website)

If you are a pedagogical assistant or a pedagogue, it triggers an additional six pay steps.

The position is 48 hours per week, and the hours can fall in the period from 06:00 – 17:00.

How exactly your working hours look depends on the care needs of your particular group of children.
