Club assistant for Klub Højen – do you have energy, good ideas and a desire to create active communities?

We are seeking a club assistant for a 33-hour-per-week position, of which 5 hours are in school. The position is a club assistant role – not an educator position.

We would like to bring even more movement, sport and outdoor life into everyday life. Therefore we are looking for an employee who is ready to lead and start activities.

What will your role be?

As a club assistant you will be an important part of the children’s daily life. You should be a presence, an adult who can both build good relations and take initiative for activities.

You can for example arrange ball games, tournaments, outdoor play, nature trips or other activities that the children find exciting. You should be able to generate ideas, translate them into action and have a desire to participate yourself. At the same time you should have an eye for the children who need an extra invitation into the community.

You will also be part of the collaboration with the school, where 5 of your weekly working hours are placed.

• take initiative and can translate good ideas into activities
• have an interest in sport, movement and outdoors
• are good at building relationships with children and young people
• can engage children with different interests and prerequisites
• dare to lead and at the same time be receptive to the children’s own ideas
• are independent, responsible and a good colleague
• can collaborate with colleagues, teachers and parents
• have a valid driving license (category B) and willingness to drive the club’s 9-seat minibus.

We already have three educators employed at Klub Højen and want to supplement the staff with a club assistant. The position does not require an educator degree. We particularly emphasise your initiative, your ability to build relationships, and your willingness to start activities together with the children.

Experiences are part of club life

We also create shared experiences outside the regular club routine. This could include overnight stays at the club, camps, trips to Lalandia or other events.

Evening work occurs a few times a month, and weekend and overnight work may occur in connection with special activities and trips.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 33 hours per week, of which 5 hours are in school and 28 hours at Klub Højen. Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement. A children’s certificate will be obtained prior to employment.

Workplace: Klub Højen, Frederikssund Municipality.

Start date: January 1, 2027.
