Companion/Support Person and Disability Helper

Companion and support person (young man) urgently sought for a healthy young man. Hello everyone 😊 Who would like to help me have some good experiences? Since my current companion and support assistant will be going on a longer trip, I am seeking a new employee, preferably with start date December 4, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

I am a 39-year-old man who has sustained a brain injury after a drowning accident, which unfortunately happened when I was at a kindergarten camp with my preschool, when I was 3 years old. I am articulate and mobile. I do not need help with personal hygiene. The hours will be used for companionship and support and will be about 7 - 15 hours per month. The hours will vary and will usually be 2 -3 hours per shift, but in special situations there can be more hours.

The hours outside holidays will usually be scheduled on weekends and perhaps a weekday (Tuesday and Friday afternoon) and of course there will be consideration of your possible studies. It can also be an evening now and then. I am looking for a person who has/is:

• driving license for a passenger car (important, as I have a car available)
• flexible
• dutiful/meeting-stable,
• non-smoker
• caring and easy to talk to – enjoys working with people
• tidiness
• can see when I need help, but also at times be “a fly on the wall”
• can help me type on the PC
• has a sense of humor
• has patience
• has an interest in disabled people or has grown up with a disabled brother/sister
• perhaps currently studying
• it is an advantage if you have interest/knowledge of PC/possibly film/song/music/STAND-UP and/or art, as these are my main interests, though it is no condition.

I also enjoy going to thrift stores, to the cinema, to the Zoo, to art exhibitions (I take painting courses at an evening school), to the beach, shopping and the like. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards from Casper 😊Odense NV
