Companion sought for a woman aged 48 in Helsinge
The citizen has a mental and physical disability, and she is not age-appropriate. She has no walking function left. She therefore uses an electric wheelchair when she needs to get around as the companion drives. She has a small vocabulary and therefore often repeats the same things/words many times. In addition, one must be able to tolerate that she swears. She is not fond of places with too many people.
She has epilepsy, where she has small seizures that cause her to fall from the wheelchair and shortly afterward she is back again. She lives with her parents, and when they are on holiday, she sometimes stays in Birkerød.
She desires among other things companionship for a walk - coffee/cake - quiet and calm trips with someone who wants to talk to her and make her laugh.
The citizen has 15 hours per month for companionship.
The companionship can be both weekdays and weekends, about once a week around midday, as the citizen gets up late.
You will usually be away for about 2-3 hours per trip.
Arrangements are made in collaboration with the citizen's sister.
The family has a regular passenger car with manual transmission. A driving license is therefore a requirement.
Because the citizen has epilepsy, please complete our epilepsy courses. It is three short e-learning modules that can be completed via your helper profile. It is a prerequisite for this position that you complete the epilepsy course. Go to the course: My DUOS
The position as companion is a part-time job.
The companion scheme is always used for self-chosen activities outside the citizen's home.
The citizen covers all expenses in connection with the companionship.
Hourly wage
Weekdays: About 170 kr.
Saturday: About 180 kr.
Sunday: About 190 kr.
Wages vary depending on where in the country the citizen lives.
