Construction Manager / Project Manager sought for SærByg Entreprise ApS

We are seeking an experienced contract manager/project manager who can take responsibility for their own projects – and who thrives as well with people as with finances, schedules and construction technology.

About SærByg Entreprise

SærByg Entreprise ApS primarily works with renovation and transformation of existing properties .

Our main tasks lie within climate envelope, conversion and renovation , including renovation of public buildings. We handle medium-sized contracts on Zealand and in Greater Copenhagen and place great emphasis on quality, integrity and good collaboration throughout the construction process.

We believe the best projects are created through good dialogue and strong relationships. Therefore collaboration with clients, advisers, subcontractors, suppliers and our own employees means a lot to us.

Your role

As a contract manager/project manager you will be responsible for your own projects in close cooperation with your colleagues at the office and the people on the sites.

You will typically manage one or more projects at a time and follow them from start-up to handover.

You will, among other things, be responsible for

• manage the projects with focus on economy, quality and time
• prepare and follow up on schedules and ensure the necessary progress
• manage in-house production, suppliers and subcontractors
• hold construction meetings and ensure a good and constructive dialogue between the project's parties
• monitor the project budget and ensure a prudent use of materials, labor and other resources
• handle documentation, agreements and project follow-up
• be the primary contact for the client, advisers, authorities and partners
• contribute with your experience already in the bidding and planning phase.

In short, you will have responsibility and the opportunity to shape the way your projects are carried out .

Who are you?

Your educational background could be building constructor or equivalent. A trades background – preferably as a carpenter – is an advantage, but your practical experience and the way you run projects matters at least as much to us.

We envisage that you

• have solid experience from the contracting industry, preferably at least 5 years
• have experience with main contracts and renovation projects
• have a solid knowledge of construction technology, logistics and planning
• can work confidently with schedules and project economics
• have knowledge of relevant contract terms such as AB18
• keep an overview and find solutions when a project does not go exactly as planned
• take ownership and follow your tasks through to completion
• have business sense and be able to see the project from both the client’s and the contractor’s side
• be a team player who communicates properly and respectfully with different people.

Familiarity with E-Komplet and Inspectly is an advantage, but not a requirement. We will help you with that.
