Control officer sought to prevent fraud involving public services

We are seeking a new colleague as soon as possible. Do you want to join the team?

You will work with prevention, control and follow-up on cases of possible fraud or incorrect payments of public benefits, business inspections and outbound service visits.

You must be able to work independently, responsibly and always with respect for the citizen's situation. The control area requires special human qualifications and therefore we also place weight on you being solidly equipped and able to handle any pressure from the citizens you meet in your work.

Your tasks

• Handling complaints/inquiries from citizens and colleagues
• Perform various searches in IT systems and take action on these
• Conduct conversations with citizens
• On-site control and service visits
• Prepare party hearing notes, decisions and police reports
• Investigate and process cases regarding residence and civil status

Who you are

• It is an advantage that you have broad knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Legal Security Act, the Administration Act, GDPR, the Active Act and the CPR Act, etc.
• You have good communication skills, written and spoken
• You have the ability to maintain overview in complicated cases
• You are proactive, curious and persistent
• You have a positive attitude to everyday life
• It is an advantage if you have or have had your feet in the municipal or state world

• Interviews: Held on Wednesday 28.10.2026 and for selected candidates a second interview on Wednesday 04.11.2026 – so mark the dates in your calendar
• The position: Full-time or part-time can be agreed (but not under 34 hours)
