About the position

You will be responsible for the daily production of both cold and hot buffets and ensure that the food is of high quality, tastes good and is nicely presented – in close collaboration with your colleagues.

• Your fixed workplace is: Varde Garrison.
• The position is 37 hours per week.
• Your working hours will mainly be between 10– 20.
• Evening and weekend work will occur.
• We offer attractive terms of employment, including a solid pension scheme and paid lunch break.

We are seeking a person for our evening shift at Varde Garrison - 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday)

You must be able to present an apprenticeship certificate as a gastronomist with specialisation as cook, caterer, nutrition assistant or another relevant professional qualification.

A driving license is not required but would be an advantage.

Terms of employment

The employment is in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Civil Service Area (OAO-S collective agreement) and the organizational agreement for diet-related trained staff – kitchen entered into between the Ministry of Taxation, CO10 - The Central Organisation of 2010 and the Professional Joint Federation (3F).

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is the possibility of negotiating a supplement. There is an employer-financed pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Varde.

As an employee within the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special conditions. You must for example be security-clearable and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment period.

As an employee you are obliged to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.
