About the position

As an apprentice with the Defence Canteens you will get

We are looking for both gastronomy apprentices and nutrition assistant apprentices – also adult apprentices or those who want a “New Apprenticeship” program. With us you become part of an informal community where we work closely together and support each other.

Employment terms

Nutrition assistant: Employment is in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Teachers' Central Organization and CO10 – Central Organization of 2010 and the organizational agreement for culinary trained personnel – kitchen concluded between the Ministry of Taxation, CO10 - Central Organization of 2010 and the Fagligt Fælles Forbund (3F).

Gastronomist (Gastronom): Employment is in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organization – The Public Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the organizational agreement for culinary trained personnel – kitchen concluded between the Ministry of Taxation, CO10 - Central Organization of 2010 and the Fagligt Fælles Forbund (3F).

There is an employer-financed pension scheme attached to the position.

As an employee of the Ministry of Defence you are subject to certain special terms. You must among other things be security cleared and maintain this throughout the employment period.

As an employee you are obliged to perform service outside the country’s borders, including at units in international operations with a view to participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.

About Establishment and Field Command

The Establishment and Field Command (ETK) supports and services military and civilian authorities under the Ministry of Defence. Our task is to deliver and develop attractive physical facilities that are necessary for their daily work.

We build new, maintain, operate canteens and clean service locations nationwide.
