Customer service profile with a desire to learn about measuring tools

Do you have experience with internal sales administrative tasks, technical flair and a desire to use your knowledge in dialogue with customers? As Internal Sales Engineer at KYOCERA UNIMERCO, you help customers find the right solutions within measuring and control tools and you play an important role in ensuring that customer cases run smoothly from start to finish.

You will become part of Customer Excellence in Sunds and will have 13 skilled colleagues. The department is already gathering strength across the areas of wood, metal, FPG (food, plastic, graphics) and metrology, so customers receive a consistent, fast and professional experience. Your role will be anchored in metrology, but you will have close collaboration with colleagues from the other areas. You will also join at a good time, where the direction is set but there is still plenty of opportunity to take ownership and influence the way the team works.

Customer's administrative sparring partner

As Internal Sales Engineer you will be the administrative sparring partner who helps customers find the right solution within geometrical measuring and control tools. The role consists of technical clarification, order handling and customer service. After a thorough onboarding in the products you will use your product expertise to ask the customer the right questions, clarify the need and translate technical details into clear recommendations.

At the same time you will ensure a professional and welcoming customer experience throughout the process – from first dialogue and quote to order, delivery and follow-up. The tasks are carried out in collaboration with external salespeople and technical specialists, and for more complex technical cases you will always have a sparring partner.

You will among other things

• Clarify the customer's needs, application and documentation requirements
• Quality assure technical documentation, offers and order basis to the customer
• Have dialogue with suppliers about prices, delivery times and technical clarifications
• Coordinate customer cases with colleagues and other departments
• Administer orders, documentation and ongoing follow-up on customer cases
• Administer service orders and service agreements with the customer
• Contribute to better processes, standards and workflows

The role reports to the Head of Customer Excellence, and you will also work together with Customer Support, Application Support and colleagues in Production and Supply Chain.

You know how to translate the customer's needs into technical solutions

You either have a technical flair or the ability and willingness to thoroughly immerse yourself in a specialized area and at the same time be eager to use it in dialogue with customers. You master the sales administrative tasks and are motivated by translating the customer's needs into concrete solutions that both customers and colleagues can act on. Supplier contact requires that you speak and write English at a good level, and that you have a good system understanding.

As a person you work structured, document your solutions and follow up, even when the case crosses several departments. You take responsibility for quality and have an eye for what creates value for the customer. You thrive with the administrative part that comes with turning solutions into orders, and you must ensure on-time delivery.
