At Nymarkskolen we are looking for you as co-teacher in the kindergarten if you also want to be their upcoming Danish- and class teacher when they start in 1st grade.

You regard Danish as the mother of all subjects, and you are passionate about the Danish subject, which is your heart project. Your strong passion is linguistic development and reading learning. If you are also eager to give our little gems the best transition from kindergarten to 1st grade, you are a good candidate for our upcoming Danish teacher. You will enter a schedule where, in addition to Danish, there will also be hours in e.g. English, art and N/T in the primary and intermediate levels.

For the coming school year you will have many hours in 1st grade, and otherwise you contribute to the distribution of subjects based on your competencies.

As our upcoming teacher you will work purposefully to ensure that all students become as proficient as they can be, and you will simultaneously have a sharp eye for their well-being and participation in the community. You can document good academic results and high well-being from your current work or studies and look forward to bringing your experiences into play with us.

Nymarkskolen is a sports school, and movement is a natural part of our daily life. Therefore we expect that you can and will integrate movement into your teaching as a natural part of the students' learning.

Who are we?

We have 600 students distributed across 2-3 tracks from kindergarten to 9th grade and 74 staff. Nymarkskolen is a sports school and has the municipality's only sports talent line for 7th to 9th grade. In addition, we have a special classes series from kindergarten to 9th grade and reception classes for the oldest students in Slagelse town.

Salary and employment terms

Employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The employer is Slagelse Municipality with service at Nymarkskolen. The position is full-time, but there is also the possibility of 80% employment. The position is to be filled as soon as possible and no later than 1 January 2027.
