Welcome to section 811, which is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings on a great location right up to Brøndbyskoven.

The ward is nicely and cozily furnished, where from the ward's living room there is a good overview of the rest of the ward. The rooms are kept in beautiful and calm colors – and it is the staff themselves who have been responsible for painting and furnishing based on the patients' wishes.

We have 13 single rooms with private bath and toilet as well as TV in the patient room.

We have a large and lovely garden, where especially in the summer we cosy up, play games and barbecue, and we have a good and versatile training room.

How everyday life looks

Our patients are over 18 years old and are admitted to ward 811 for the purpose of a stabilizing admission. Patients have diagnoses within the schizophrenic spectrum, bipolar disorders and personality disorders. Medical treatment is strongly supported by cognitive behavioral therapy/environmental therapy with a focus on the patient’s own recovery process.

We have a good collegial community on ward 811, where we work interdisciplinary with doctors, nurses, social- and health care assistants, pedagogues, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social workers.

We have both individually and as a group a solid professional foundation, which we continually want to challenge and strengthen, and we want to maintain an increased focus on the patient’s involvement in their own treatment and recovery. It is always our ambition to offer the patient a structured daily life with meaningful activities arranged by and for the individual patient with individual support from the contact person.

Who are you?

You are a trained pedagogue and interested in other people. You see working with the patient relationship as your responsibility and your strongest tool. You have a desire to contribute with your professional competencies within the pedagogical specialty with focus on patients with cognitive impairments as well as focus on the ward’s environmental therapy development.

You wish to contribute positively to our already good working environment and are a good and approachable colleague with a ready smile and a belief that “it will all work out” (this applies to both our patients and our health system).

In addition you are

• Interested in strengthening your knowledge of psychopathology and pharmacology
• Good at maintaining an overview and thinking in connections and wholes in a patient pathway
• Focused on the patient’s recovery process

Salary and terms of employment

Start January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

You will be employed in accordance with the collective agreement for social-pedagogical staff at 24-hour institutions with pay grade as a social pedagogue.

The ward operates around the clock, and you will therefore be scheduled with mixed shifts in accordance with the rules in the current working time agreement/working time rules in the collective agreement.
