About the Center for Housing Support and Relief and Kløvervej

Kløvervej is creating a new team, as we have an influx of residents, and it is therefore possible to apply either specifically to this team, or to those in the already established teams. The new team works 1:3 residents and in 12-hour shifts, currently 9:30-21:30.

The residential facility Kløvervej is a §85/105 residential facility under the Center for Housing Support and Relief (CBA) in Kolding Municipality, which frames the independent lives of 20 citizens in their own apartments. The target group is adults with significantly and permanently reduced physical and mental functioning. What is common for the citizens is that they need pedagogical and health-professional support to manage daily life.

The Center for Housing Support and Relief (CBA) consists of 8 offerings for residents with a light, moderate to substantial need for support. Across the entire care center, our common professional foundation is KRAP and Neuropedagogy, which all employees work from. If you do not have the KRAP education, you will of course be offered it as part of your employment.

About the position and your profile

We are seeking a trained social pedagogue for a permanent position, who can and will work interdisciplinary with health-care colleagues. Working hours are day, evening and on-call shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays.

We emphasize that you

• are a trained Social Pedagogue.
• have knowledge of or willingness to work with psychiatric issues and dementia challenges in residents with multimorbidity.
• have good IT skills and preferably familiarity with Nexus, which we use for documentation.
• are relationally competent, a good listener, and can meet residents on equal terms and at eye level.
• can work independently and maintain an overview in a changing daily life.
• can collaborate and give/receive professional sparring in the colleagues group.
• can undertake daily leadership of the day’s structure, and provide support when the colleague has the leadership.

Your tasks

You will become a central part of an interdisciplinary team at Kløvervej. Your main tasks will be:

• pedagogical support, care and guidance of residents in their own homes.
• development of pedagogical action plans and documentation in Nexus.
• close collaboration with relatives, external partners and your colleagues.
• to create structure, security and participation in social activities and the good everyday life.
• healthcare delegated tasks, such as assistance with bathing, compression stockings, all personal hygiene, etc.
