DMR seeks a technician with experience using QGIS for our geotechnical department in Jutland

To one of our offices in Aabenraa, Kolding, Horsens or Silkeborg we are seeking as soon as possible a technician to perform, among other things, QGIS tasks.

It is an advantage to have extensive experience with QGIS.

The position is 37 hours per week.

You will work together with our project managers and be responsible for a variety of tasks within GIS work.

DMR employs a total of just over 300 employees, of which about 55 are geotechnicians. Work is carried out across geography and offices, so your tasks may be for colleagues all over the country. Your tasks will include, among others:

• preparation of drawings in QGIS
• drilling permits
• signage plans
• volume calculations in TBC
• preparation of bore profiles
• preparation of geotechnical site plans
• archiving and filing of case materials.

We expect that you

• are educated as a map and land surveying technician or similar
• have an overview and are meticulous in a daily work environment with high activity
• have worked extensively with QGIS
• have worked with Trimble Business Center (TBC)
• are quick to learn new things and have good drafting comprehension
• have a good understanding of finances
• work independently and systematically
• focus on collaboration.
