About the job

Are you our new specialist in moisture, mold and fungi… or would you like to become one?

Are you motivated by finding the cause of construction-related problems? And do you enjoy combining practical investigations with professional deepening, advisory work and reporting?

At DMR Mold you will have the opportunity to (further) develop yourself into a specialist in moisture, mold and fungi in buildings. You don’t need to know all the answers upfront. The most important is that you have a solid construction technical understanding, work analytically and are curious to learn new things

You will become part of a specialized professional environment with access to our own laboratories and colleagues who share their knowledge. At the same time you will have a varied workday, where you examine buildings, identify the causes of damage, assess the significance and help customers choose the right solutions.

We are looking for a new colleague for our office in Herlev, Vordingborg or Frederikssund.

Become a “building detective” in a ambitious organization

As an advisor at DMR Mold, your work is about more than just stating a damage. Your primary task is to find the underlying cause and relay the result so the problem can be solved in the most appropriate way. Why does the moisture occur? Is it due to a cold bridge, rising ground moisture, the use of the building, or something completely different?

Your main tasks will be

  • Building investigations: Identifying the cause of damage, extent and significance of moisture, mold, fungi, insect infestation and rot.
  • Technical advisory: Development of concrete remediation plans, decontamination guidelines and final quality assurance.
  • Reporting: Conveying complex findings in clear, precise and well-phrased language to, among others, insurance companies, housing associations, municipalities and private individuals.
  • Networking and customer relations: Maintaining and expanding your task portfolio through professional sparring and market-oriented advice.

We expect you to be educated as building constructor, structural engineer or have a similar construction technical background. If you also have a crafts background, that is an advantage. You likely have 3-5 years of experience with auditing the existing building stock, but we also value a broader profile.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Has a natural curiosity and thrives on solving construction-related puzzles.
  • Is analytical by nature, thoughtful and takes ownership of your tasks.
  • Has strong written communication skills (in Danish), so you can explain technical problems in an understandable way, and you gain energy from working with phrasing and report structures in each individual case.
  • Has a valid driver’s license (B) and a car. Travel is compensated according to state rates.

Why choose DMR?

With us you become part of a flat organization with an informal and direct tone, where professionalism is paramount. We set ourselves apart by having own laboratories , which gives you a unique opportunity for quick sparring and microbiological documentation.

You get a special opportunity to get close to many different buildings and constructions—from old properties to modern construction—and build a deep understanding of how buildings function and why damages occur.

We offer

  • A thorough onboarding and close sparring with experienced colleagues, so you quickly and confidently settle into the advisory role and in contact with our customers.
  • A varied everyday life with a lot of freedom, influence on and responsibility for your own tasks.
  • Tasks ranging from smaller private cases to large, complex projects.
  • Good opportunities for both professional and personal development.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work when tasks permit.
  • Salary and employment terms that match your qualifications.
