Project Manager for United Petfood in Ølgod

So you may be our new project manager, who will be the link between customers, suppliers and production when it comes to finding the right solutions for our customers' products.

United Petfood is one of Europe's leading producers of private label pet food and our products reach pet owners in more than 120 countries worldwide.

The plant in Ølgod is our first production unit in the Nordics and produces dry- and semimoist food for cats and dogs and functions as a strategic hub for our Nordic activities.

You will report to the Procurement Manager and have the opportunity for good coaching from the current project leader, who has moved to another role in the group. Expect 20-30 travel days per year.

Responsibilities

As a project manager, you will have a broad interface with many different tasks

• Answer customer inquiries
• Drive new customer projects in close collaboration with customers, suppliers, sales and other internal interfaces in the organization
• Contact with suppliers
• Close collaboration with production and the technical department
• Go-to person regarding commercial questions
• Complaint handling
• Administer PPWR and packaging producer responsibility
• Prepare solution proposals, calculations and packaging offers
• Create and update item numbers and update the CRM system
• Procurement and planning of packaging from selected suppliers based on forecast and production orders
• Communicate new packaging solutions to the sales department and customers

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for a person who is willing

• Has experience in project management
• Has experience in development and production of packaging
• Has good communication skills in English and Danish, both written and spoken

As a person you are open and outgoing, have a commercial mindset and good problem-solving skills. You are flexible and can handle many different tasks in a varied everyday life. You are structured, result-oriented and can work independently. At the same time you are service-minded and have good collaboration skills.
