About the job

Are you office-trained with experience in payroll and personnel administration?

Do you thrive with responsibility, structure and many different tasks?

Then become part of Adult Dentistry in the City of Copenhagen, where your administrative efforts make a difference for people who need special support.

With us you get a versatile daily routine, where you work with payroll and personnel, administrative case handling and the daily operation of our secretariat. You will become an important part of a professionally strong team, where we help each other and lift together.

Have a daily life with responsibility and meaning

In the Adult Dentistry, our work is about more than teeth. We help Copenhagen residents with various forms of functional impairment to get the dental care they need.

You will become part of our secretariat and take on a central role in daily administration. You will work closely with dental consultants and colleagues on cases, payroll, personnel and practical tasks that keep everyday life functioning.

You will have broad contact with citizens, dental clinics, colleagues and other partners. It requires overview, good collaboration skills and a desire to find solutions.

Your main tasks

You will have a varied workday with tasks within three main areas

  • Payroll and personnel: You handle payroll- and personnel-administrative tasks and work with relevant collective agreements.
  • Case processing and dental consultant function: You assist with the administrative processing of applications for subsidies for dental treatment and manage settlements with privately practicing dentists.
  • Secretariat operations: You keep track of shared mailboxes, follow up on tasks and deadlines and ensure that agreements and tasks are followed through.

You communicate continuously with citizens, dental clinics and partners – both by phone and in writing.

What you get with us

We offer a workplace where you get responsibility, good colleagues and the opportunity to develop professionally, and in addition

  • a versatile position with both payroll, personnel, case processing and secretarial tasks
  • a strong sense of workplace community, where we share knowledge, help each other and lift each other up
  • a good working climate with room for humor, care and diversity
  • opportunity for professional development in an organization that continuously develops its workflows and tasks
  • flexibility in daily life with flextime.

You will become part of a secretariat where your contribution matters – both for colleagues’ everyday life and for the help we provide to Copenhageners.

We imagine that you

  • are office-trained and have experience with payroll- and personnel administration
  • have knowledge of agreements and an interest in working with payroll and personnel matters
  • work in a structured way and can keep an overview of several tasks and deadlines at the same time
  • take responsibility, work independently and follow your tasks through to the end
  • communicate clearly and courteously – both orally and in writing
  • meet citizens and partners with respect and understanding
  • are keen to learn new systems and workflows.

It is an advantage if you know systems such as KMD Opus, eDoc, Service Portal, KAS or Opus Lex, but the most important is that you have solid administrative professional competence and a desire to contribute to the community.

Salary and employment

You will get a permanent full-time position with flextime. We hope you can start on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. Your salary is composed according to your qualifications and the assigned tasks, based on the current HK collective agreement. In connection with the employment, we will obtain references.

If you have previously been employed in the City of Copenhagen, also note

If you are considered for a position in a municipal unit, we will check whether you have been terminated or dismissed from the municipality within the last three years and share relevant information herewith the hiring manager.

It may also be information about criminal offenses that led to termination or dismissal from the City of Copenhagen, information about substance abuse such as a positive alcohol test, or information about medical history that could be of material importance for a new employment in the municipality. This does not apply to employment at a self-governing nursing home. Read more about reference checks here .
