About the job

We are seeking a skilled administrative employee for the Secretariat for Children and Authority in Rudersdal Municipality. If you have experience from the school sector, that is an advantage. But most important is that you have strong administrative skills, work in a structured way and want to be part of a professional community in development.

In Rudersdal Municipality we have established a new shared secretariat that supports School, Day Care, as well as Social Authority and Advice.

We solve many different administrative tasks that are important so that leaders and employees in Social Authority and Advice, in day care and schools can succeed in their work. And we are in the process of developing a secretariat where we collaborate across, share our knowledge and find good common ways to solve the tasks.

Here we need you.

About the job

You will from the start have a special connection to the school area, but will at the same time be part of the shared secretariat where we help each other across disciplines.

Your tasks may include

  • School administration: Administrative tasks related to the school area, for example school enrollment, student administration and coordination with the schools.
  • Citizen service and case administration: Handling written and telephone inquiries, management of shared mailboxes, and administrative support of the case processing.
  • Coordination and follow-up: Meeting scheduling and stock/purchasing, ensuring overview and contributing to administrative processes functioning in practice.
  • Development of workflows: Contributing to improving our administrative routines, preparing guidelines and creating solutions that make everyday life easier for both colleagues and partners.

We do not expect you to know it all from day one. The concrete task allocation depends, among other things, on your experience and competences. On the other hand we expect you to be curious, take responsibility for your tasks and want to learn new things.

Who are you?

You have a relevant administrative education, preferably as an office professional with a specialization in public administration, or another relevant background.

It would be an advantage if you have experience with administrative tasks in the school sector, for example from a school administration or a school administration. Experience with working with phrases, templates and digital forms will also be relevant.

We particularly emphasize that you

  • Have solid administrative understanding and work in a structured and meticulous way.
  • Have good system understanding and easily adapt to new digital solutions.
  • Are service-minded and communicate kindly and clearly with both citizens and colleagues.
  • Can work independently, take responsibility and follow up on tasks to completion.
  • Are flexible and help out when needed.
  • Contribute positively to collaboration and are willing to share your knowledge with others.

You will thrive with there being both regular operational tasks that must be solved safely and on time, and new tasks where we together must find good solutions.

We build our shared secretariat together

You enter a secretariat where since June 2026 we have been getting to know each other’s tasks and competencies and developing a strong working community.

We have different professional backgrounds and experiences but share the ambition to provide good administrative support to our domains.

We want a workplace where there is high professionalism, room to ask questions and an informal tone. Where we help each other, and where good ideas for smarter workflows are taken seriously.

You get the opportunity to put your stamp on both your own tasks and the way we work together.

We therefore hope that you not only want to become part of our secretariat but also want to be involved in developing it.

Use of AI in your application

There is no expectation that you use AI for your application, but if you do, we are curious about how. We therefore ask you briefly indicate if and how you have used AI in connection with your application – for example for information gathering, structuring or wording of text.

Would you like to know more?

You are welcome to contact the Secretariat Chief Jesper Holmboe at 72684327 if you want to hear more about the position and our new secretariat.

Conditions of employment

The position is 37 hours per week with commencement on January 1, 2027 or by agreement. Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement.

Application deadline: November 15, 2026

We expect to hold interviews: Round 1 on November 19, 2026 and Round 2 on November 24, 2026.

We look forward to hearing from you.
