Do you have experience with mental vulnerability and relationship work?

Do you have the possibility to start October 1 and work daytime hours? We are looking for two pedagogues who can create security and predictability around a young girl in Odense through a calm, patient, and clear approach.

About the assignment

You will become part of a program for a young girl in Odense who is bright, curious and among other things interested in culture, other countries, music, Pokémon, films and series.

The girl is mentally vulnerable and needs close presence and support during the hours when she would otherwise be home alone. It can take time to build a relationship with her, and she can be hesitant about support. Therefore it is important that you can be present without pressuring and can tailor the contact to her needs.

The assignment largely revolves around creating a calm and predictable everyday life and gradually building a trusting relationship through music, watching films or series, making lunch together or being active. She is also interested in school subjects and has a desire to continue her schooling in time, and here you can support and motivate at a pace that makes sense for her.

You must be able to accommodate both conversation and silence and be comfortable talking about the topics that fill the girl when she herself opens up about them. At the same time you must be able to register when she needs more distance and calm.

As part of the assignment you should also be aware that she takes her prescribed medication as agreed.

About you

You are a trained pedagogue and have experience with young people and mental vulnerability. You have a calm and balanced approach and can work in a relationship-oriented way, even when establishing contact takes time.

It is important that you can align demands and expectations and motivate without pressuring. You must be able to remain calm, give space for silence and at the same time be available when the girl needs contact or conversation.

It is an advantage if you have an interest in movement and activities yourself and can take the initiative in a natural way based on the girl’s daily condition and interests.

Working hours

Two full-time pedagogues are being recruited with start on October 1, 2026.

From October 1 to November 1 the arrangement is 10 hours per week. The hours are on weekdays within the time frame approximately 6:30 a.m. – 4:00/5:00 p.m.

From November 1 the arrangement expands to 42.5 hours per week with support every weekday, Monday to Friday, within the time window roughly 6:30 a.m. – 4:00/5:00 p.m.
