About the job

Do you have experience with procurement and warehouse logistics? And would you like to use it in a health care context, where your work has direct impact on acutely ill and injured citizens?

When an ambulance or an emergency doctor car is dispatched to a citizen in Region Midtjylland, the equipment must be in place.

Therefore we at the Prehospital Services are currently seeking a new colleague to help ensure that the staff in the ambulances, emergency doctor cars and our other emergency services always have the right equipment available when they go out on a task.

You will work across the prehospital area in Region Midtjylland, and you will have great freedom to plan your tasks yourself. In the role you support your colleagues in the emergency services so they can deliver the best possible treatment to the citizens in the region.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for the daily operation of our utensil warehouses and our Brik system, which is the cornerstone of the entire inventory management. It is a role with many balls in the air and a high degree of autonomy. Specifically, you will among other things:

  • drive and develop the utensil warehouses and the Brik system in daily operations
  • order new items for new initiatives and follow up when an item is replaced, so the operation continues without problems
  • build new warehouses as needed together with the bases and the Brik team at the hospital
  • keep track of uniforms – orders, sizes and inventory
  • be the contact person for the bases and keep the base managers and the functional leaders informed about recalls, new products and other changes

In short: you will get involved in many tasks and play an important role in helping many of your colleagues spread across the region.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience with warehousing, purchasing and/or logistics, and that you are used to working in IT systems. It is an advantage if you have experience with the Brik systems, but it is not a requirement.

Regardless of your background, it is important that you can keep an overview and stay calm when there are many tasks in progress. If you are also service-minded and good at taking initiative on your tasks yourself, that is a plus. You will work with many different people and professional backgrounds, so it matters that you are good at meeting others – whether it is over the phone, by email or face-to-face.

You have a driver's license and should expect to travel around the entire region. You will have a fixed base, but part of the work takes place at other bases.

Who are we?

The Prehospital Service is responsible for the prehospital area in Region Midtjylland, and our main task and vision is to ensure the right help at the right time for all patients. The Prehospital Service, like the other hospitals in the region, has operational, treatment, educational, quality assurance and research tasks. With us you meet colleagues with many different professional backgrounds, but common to all of us is that we strive to do the best for the patients.

You will be employed in the Prehospital Service's Service and Logistics Function under the Department of Ambulances and Emergency Doctor Cars. The department is led by a department management team consisting of an ambulance chief and a chief physician, along with a functional leadership team comprising 11 functional managers. The functional leadership handles personnel management of our staff at the bases and the daily management. In the position you will report to the Functional Leader Ronni Sander.

This is a permanent position of 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible. You will have a fixed base in Aarhus N, and travel throughout Region Midtjylland. Start date 01/12-2026/01/01-2027, or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement. The application deadline is 18/10-2026, and interviews will be held in Aarhus N on 30/10-2026.
