At Egebo we want to strengthen the nursing professional input further, and therefore we are looking for one more nursing home nurse .

You will not be alone with the task. You will be two nursing home nurses who together will help ensure nursing professional quality and development across the entire home.

The position is self-planned, and you have a great opportunity together with your nursing colleague and management to plan the tasks based on the citizens' and the organization's needs.

An important professional role at Egebo

As a nursing home nurse you will be a central part of the professional everyday life at Egebo.

Together with the other nursing home nurse you will help create coherence and high quality in the nursing professional effort. You will also be close to residents, colleagues and support the professional development in our teams.

We therefore seek a nurse who not only is passionate about direct nursing, but also wants to teach, mentor and share their professional knowledge with others .

You may ideally have clinical supervisor training. If you do not have it, but you are passionate about learners, students, teaching and learning, we would still like to hear from you.

Your tasks will include

• handle and coordinate complex nursing tasks
• perform clinical assessments and follow up on changes in citizens' health status
• work systematically with early detection, prevention and patient safety
• ensure high quality in health professional documentation
• be a professional sparring partner for social and healthcare assistants, social and health helpers and other colleagues
• teach and guide employees in relevant nursing topics
• create reflection and learning together with employees in daily life
• advise and support learners and students
• collaborate closely with the other nursing home nurse
• collaborate with doctors, relatives and other relevant partners
• contribute to translating new professional knowledge into practice.

You must be eager to teach others

We want Egebo to be a place where professional development and learning is a natural part of everyday life.

Therefore we are looking for you who get energy from making others more skilled and at the same time willing to learn and acquire new knowledge.

Maybe you are already a clinical supervisor or have experience with teaching and want to take the supervisor training. Or perhaps you have discovered that one of the best things about your profession is being able to pass on your knowledge and see others develop.

For us the most important is that you want it.

Learners and students should experience Egebo as a good and safe learning place, where they are taken seriously, given responsibility corresponding to their level and meet skilled professionals who are willing to teach others.

At Egebo we work in teams around the citizens. This means that the nurse should not stand on the outside of the organization, but be an active part of the multidisciplinary collaboration.

We believe that high professional quality is created close to the citizen and in the interaction between different professions.

As a nursing home nurse you must therefore be able to stand strong in your own nursing professionalism and at the same time have respect for the knowledge and experience your colleagues bring into the collaboration.

Who are you?

You are a licensed nurse and passionate about working with older people.

You have a strong clinical eye, can work independently and thrive with responsibility and a self-planned everyday life.

At the same time you are a person who thrives with others. You are curious, welcoming and good at building relationships with both residents, relatives and colleagues.

You

• Minimum 4 years of experience and preferably from the municipal area.
• values high professionalism
• willing to teach and share your knowledge
• passionate about learners and students
• enjoy working in interprofessional collaboration
• can work independently and at the same time be a team player
• are familiar with IT and digital documentation
• see opportunities and contribute constructively to development and changes.
• Have clinical supervisor training or are willing to take it
