About the job

At Piletræet we are seeking as soon as possible an experienced, engaged and caring pedagogical assistant for the kindergarten, 37 hours per week.

With us you are not just an extra hand, you are an important adult in the children's lives.

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's everyday life, are you present, curious and good at building relationships and would you like to be part of a workplace community where we help each other and develop our pedagogical practice together?

Then perhaps you are the person we are looking for at Piletræet.

At Piletræet we work purposefully to create safe, inclusive and developing learning environments, where all children experience themselves as valuable participants in the community.

We place great emphasis on present, engaged adults, positive relationships and an affirming and respectful approach to the children.

Our pedagogical practice is based on the children's perspectives, needs and development opportunities. We work with ICDP, Responsibility and Community in pedagogy, as part of our shared pedagogical foundation.

We believe that high pedagogical quality is created through shared responsibility, professional reflections and strong collegial collaboration.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with children and actively contribute to the children's wellbeing, learning, development and formation. You must be present, caring and good at creating safe relationships.

You should be good at taking the initiative to initiate play, activities and pedagogical learning environments. You should be curious about the children's perspectives and meet them with respect and recognition.

You should be flexible and responsible.

Contribute positively to the collaboration.

You should maintain an overview, create calm and structure in a busy daily life.

Be open to professional sparring, reflections and development.

Have an understanding of the meaningful parental cooperation.

You take responsibility and meet both children and adults with engagement and respect.

So you get in return

  • A workplace where children's wellbeing and development are given high priority.
  • Dedicated colleagues who value collaboration highly, a shared responsibility where we help each other and prioritize a good working environment.
  • A everyday life with opportunities to influence the pedagogical activities.
  • A professional environment with a focus on reflections, development and learning.

We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.
